A Warsaw man and former Elkhart Truth staffer died in a rollover crash in Kansas.

The Topeka Capital-Journal in Kansas is reporting 41-year-old Justin Leighty was ejected from his semi when it crashed in rural western Kansas near the town of Beeler.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says Leighty was heading towards Beeler on a county road when he left the left side of the road, returned to the road, and rolled his truck.

Leighty was pronounced dead at the scene. In addition to working over 15 years at the Elkhart Truth, Leighty also was a journalist for RVBusiness magazine and Woodall’s Campground Management.
