The Gateway Mile Autofest returns to Main Street in downtown Elkhart on Friday and Saturday, July 14 – 15, to the delight of car enthusiasts all over Michiana.
The festival revs up on Friday night, with an old school rolling cruise down Main Street from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
All types of cars are welcome with no registration or entrance fee.
The main event will take place on Saturday with the opening ceremony beginning at 11 a.m., featuring a speech from Mayor Tim Neese, an aerial flyover, and a presentation by the color guard, with this year’s theme being Flathead Engines.
There will be live music by the classic doo-wop group The Spaniels, a live engine tear down, food vendors from all over Michiana and hundreds of collector cars such as classic cars, muscle cars, racing cars, hot rods, antique cars, and more.
