(Spencer Marsh/95.3 MNC)

The four intersections surrounding the former Chase Tower, now known as the Liberty Tower, are scheduled to be closed from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, July 14.

Washington Square Development will be using a helicopter to hoist six tons of equipment up to the roof of the Liberty Tower.

The four intersections closing include: Washington St. and Colfax St. at Main St. and Lafayette St.

At times, the helicopter will be hovering only 100 feet above the ground. Spectators can watch this process from behind the closed off perimeter.
