The Benton Harbor Area Schools board has fired one of their principals.

The interim principal at International Academy at Hull was dismissed Tuesday night in response to a 62-page report they received last week, detailing Romel Bryant’s inability to effectively do his job.

Bryant was placed on administrative leave on June 7 amid claims that he failed to follow directions and misled his staff. He’d only been on the job for just over six months.

Bryant had been named interim principal in February, the fourth person to lead the school in the last school year.

ABC 57 reports parent liaison Wil Bledsoe will take his place in the fall.
