Boy, 16, dies in apparent drowning in St. Joseph River in Three Rivers

A 16-year-old boy died in an apparent drowning in the St. Joseph River. It happened on Wednesday, July 19 in Three Rivers.

The boy was swimming with friends when he went under and didn’t resurface, according to WSBT.

Friends of the boy called for help.

It took around two hours for emergency crews to find the teenager’s body, WSBT reported.
