Now you don’t need to attend one of the job fairs to get a leg-up on a job at the new Four Winds Casino in South Bend.

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians announced Friday that a new employment office is opening Monday inside Union Station. The South Bend Tribune reports it’s expected to serve as the main human resources hub for the expected 1,200 new hires for the casino.

Applications can be filled out at the office from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Human resources officers will be on hand to help applicants.

The first job fair for the new casino took place Saturday at Jackson Middle School on Miami Street. The next job fair takes place on Aug. 5 at Four Winds Field, followed by Jackson Middle School once again on Sept. 9 and Oct. 3 at the Century Center.

Construction is expected to finish at the site by early next year, but no opening date has been announced.
