Funeral arrangements are set for the doctor who was shot and killed by a man, angry because he refused to prescribe pain medication for his wife.

Visitation for Dr. Todd Graham is set for Sunday, July 30, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., at the Palmer Funeral Home Hickey Chapel on Cleveland Road.

Graham’s funeral is set for Monday, July 31, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger.

Graham’s visitation and the funeral are open to the public, according to the family, as reported by ABC 57.

The shooting took place on Wednesday, July 27, in the parking lot at the St. Joseph Rehabilitation Institute off of Elm Road in Mishawaka.

The alleged shooter, 48-year-old Michael Jarvis, was found dead of a self-inflicted bullet wound at a friend’s home off of Dragoon Trail in Mishawaka a few hours later.

St. Joseph County Prosecutor Ken Cotter says Dr. Graham denied Jarvis’s wife opioid medications, which caused Jarvis to get into a heated argument and shoot Graham.
