One person dead in fiery crash in Berrien County

A fiery crash in Berrien County ended with a person dead.

A vehicle traveling east on Glendora Rd. in Buchanan Township went off the road at a curve and hit a tree early Sunday morning. The vehicle caught fire, requiring Buchanan Township firefighters to put it out.

Once the fire was put out, a person was found dead inside the vehicle. That person was taken to Kalamazoo for an autopsy so the person can be identified.

It’s not known exactly what led to the crash.
