New Buffalo asking residents to lock vehicle doors at night due to recent break-ins

Police in New Buffalo are urging residents to lock their vehicles after a recent spate of break-ins.

Ten vehicles were broken into during the overnight hours between Friday and Sunday, in various neighborhoods throughout the city, between the hours of midnight and 3 a.m.

Each of the vehicles had been unlocked. The suspects ransacked the vehicles and took anything they found of value.

Police in New Buffalo are looking for any information the public can provide about the robberies. Contact them if you have information at 269-469-1593.
