Classes to resume Monday at Walt Disney Elementary School

Penn-Harris-Madison officials have given students the all-clear to return to school Monday at Walt Disney Elementary School.

Students had to be evacuated Friday when an odor was detected. P-H-M officials told WSBT that the source was an equipment failure in one of the building’s chilllers in the boiler room.

The faulty equipment has been shut down for future repairs. A hazmat crew spent the weekend ensuring the school was safe for students.
