A snack maker has officially opened its new plant in Plymouth.

Pretzels Incorporated celebrated the opening Tuesday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Bluffton, Indiana-based snack maker initially announced plans to open a facility in Plymouth last September.

Inside Indiana Business reports the 45,000 square-foot facility cost $18 million to complete. The facility is operational and has 40 employees already working there. The company promised 65 jobs last year.

The plant, which produces peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets and bulk pretzel products, replaces one in Pennsylvania that burned down in 2016.
