A South Bend man accused of trafficking drugs in our region is now facing federal charges.

45-year-old Lawrence Holley was pulled over earlier this month by officers on outstanding warrants.

The U.S. Attorney’s Northern Indiana office says a search warrant at Holley’s house earlier this month led to the discovery of narcotics and ammunition. On Oct. 18, officers found two pounds of crystal methamphetamine inside Holley’s truck, along with heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and a loaded handgun. He was then arrested and booked into St. Joseph County jail.

He’s officially charged with possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, along with equivalent charges for heroin and cocaine, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and armed drug trafficking.
