Search underway for male who vandalized Christopher Columbus statue in Mishawaka

The Mishawaka Police Department is asking for the public’s health in identifying the suspect in a recent vandalism to the Christopher Columbus statue in Central Park.

It was around 8:50 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, when police say a male white wearing a dark colored jacket, light colored pants, read shirt, dark stocking hat carrying a black backpack was caught on camera vandalizing the Columbus statue.

Anybody who can identify the suspect or has any information concerning the vandalism is asked to contact the Mishawaka Police Department Detective Bureau 574-258-1684.
