Phase Two of the Eddy Street Commons project is underway.

The next step features restaurants, 17 flex units, a learning center, a stand-alone grocery store, 22 single-family homes, and 433 apartments. The $90 million project south of The University of Notre Dame was designed collectively by the University, the city of South Bend and it’s neighbors.

It would consist of five main buildings: A pair of graduate-style apartment buildings and the new Robinson Community Learning Center on the east side of Eddy Street, and two market-rate apartment buildings on the west side of Eddy.
