More information has been released about a shooting at a Mishawaka apartment complex last week.
An autopsy has made it official: 13-year-old Tyshawn Taylor was shot and killed in a homicide. The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office has also clarified that Taylor was shot by the apartment’s occupants during an attempted home invasion.
The shooting happened last Thursday evening at an apartment at the Hickory Village apartment complex.
Investigators have interviewed numerous witnesses, but no arrests have yet been made. It’s believed there may have been others involved in the attempted home invasion.
