Goshen man found dead on railroad tracks identified

A Goshen man was found dead, lying on the railroad tracks at Elkhart Road and Chicago Avenue.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit and the county coroner were called to the area around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, where they found the body of Mwandisa Mankhwala, 29.

Foul play is not suspected in the incident, according to Goshen Police.

The investigation into Mankhwala’s death is still underway.
