Pierceton man wanted on warrants arrested after foot chase

A Pierceton man has been arrested on five outstanding warrants in Kosciusko County.

In a joint operation the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Dept. with Pierceton Police and Indiana State Police Jacob D. Anderson, 25, was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

Around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, Pierceton Police received a tip about Anderson’s location. Officers found Anderson at that location and they say he led them on a short foot pursuit into a barn near Regency Point Trailer Park.

Officers found Anderson in a barn and he was taken into custody.

Anderson was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on the outstanding warrants for failure to appear for sentencing with an original charge of burglary as well as three misdemeanor counts of failure to pay fines and costs warrants.
