Admiral Ronny Jackson, White House physician, withdraws his name for VA Secretary

White House doctor Admiral Ronny Jackson is at work today in the White House, despite withdrawing from consideration as Secretary for the Veterans’ Administration.

Asked whether Jackson will stay on, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says, “Admiral Jackson is a doctor in the United States Navy assigned to the White House and is here at work today.”

Jackson announced he was pulling out Thursday, after Senators released details of allegations against him. The accusations including that he recklessly prescribed drugs and exhibited drunken behavior. Jackson called these accusations “false and fabricated.”

Shortly after the announcement, Mark McGill spoke with Fox News Washington Correspondent Jon Decker on Michiana’s Morning News.
