Argos woman identified as crash victim in U.S. 31 crash

An Argos woman was killed in a crash that resulted in southbound U.S. 31 being shutdown for several hours.

The collision happened around 2:45 on Sunday afternoon south of U.S. 6 when police say 54-year-old Rebecca Lee’s Jeep sideswiped another vehicle. The Jeep then rolled and Lee was partially ejected.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol or drugs are not suspected in this crash.
