An Elkhart County corrections officer not only defended his title as a World Champion powerlifter, he broke a record in the process.

Thomas “TD” Davis competed at the International Powerlifting Federation‘s World Raw Bench Press Championship in Finland Saturday.

He not only beat his 2016 mark in South Africa, but set a new world raw bench record at just over 639 pounds.
