A SWAT situation ends peacefully in Walkerton and with a man behind bars.

Officers were called to a home on Norway Spruce Lane in Walkerton late Wednesday night on reports of a domestic disturbance.

Walkerton police say Jacob Kenny ran into a garage when officers arrived. The victim told police that Kenny threatened to shoot her, along with any officers that responded.

However, Kenny came out of the house at about 2 a.m. Thursday and was arrested without further incident. Police also say they found a large amount of marijuana on him when he was arrested.

He’s charged with felony intimidation, dealing marijuana and resisting arrest.
