A body was found in the St. Joseph River in South Bend.

Crews were called to Darden Rd. and Riverside Dr. around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 17, after the body was found floating in the water by a kayaker, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Crews were able to determine the body was a man.

The victim’s identification is expected to be released on Monday.
