Heat Advisory in effect until 8 p.m. Monday

A Heat Advisory has been issued for all of Michiana until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 18.

The high temperature is expected to hit the low to mid 90s again, with a “feels-like” temperature around 100 degrees.

Monday is a little cooler, but residents will still feel the heat.

A cold front moves through in the evening bringing scattered showers and storms Monday night through Wednesday.

More seasonal temperatures return for the second half of the work week.

  • Sunday: Mostly sunny with a few more PM clouds and slight chance of a pop-up shower/storm. High of 93 with heat indices near 100.
  • Sunday Night: Mostly clear and warm. Low of 75.
  • Monday: Mostly sunny to partly sunny later, hot, and humid with showers/storms moving in during the late afternoon and evening. High of 91.
  • Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms possible. Highs in the low 80s.
