New information has been released about a man charged with child molestation following a crash and shooting in South Bend last week.

36-year-old Raymond Dunlap was arrested and charged with child molestation a day after his vehicle was shot at and crashed on South 30th Street.

It was last year when, according to court documents, he had sex with a 13-year-old girl. The victim told police she met Dunlap through Snapchat and began an inappropriate relationship with him.

The victim’s mother showed police inappropriate pics of Dunlap in her daughter’s bedroom. Dunlap admitted exchanging message with the victim.

He is still jailed on a $10,000 bond.
