Police in Goshen are investigating a fatal accident that happened early Monday morning involving a train and pedestrian.

It happened around 3 a.m. on East Lincoln near 8th Street. That’s not far from the Elkhart County Fairgrounds. Traffic in the area was redirected Monday morning while officials worked the scene. Police have confirmed that an 18 year-old man was killed in the incident.

No other information has been released.
