Mutiple emergency response units, including police, fire and ambulance crews arrived at the Inn just east of the Notre Dame campus in South Bend just before 11 p.m. after what dispatchers called inhalation injuries, WNDU reported.

At least one person was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Guests and staff were allowed back into the building after about two hours.
