Double murder suspect in Benton Harbor case brought in by the FBI

On Monday, one of the FBI’s Most Wanted returned to Michigan, where he’s the suspect in a Benton Harbor double-murder case.

A manhunt led to the capture of Antwan Mims, the prime suspect in the shooting death of two young fathers at a house party on Lavette Street on March 25th. The victims were 22 year-old Cortez Miller and 29 year-old Michael Johnson. FBI agents found and apprehended Mims in College Park, Georgia on July 31st. Mims was a hitman for the Gangster Disciples street gang, and considered to be extremely dangerous.

No motive has been released for the slayings, which happened in front of several witnesses.
