Construction project on Capital Avenue progressing slowly

If you were hoping for Capital Avenue’s construction to wrap up soon, INDOT is counting on your patience.

The $1.9 million restoration project between Douglas Road and the Lincoln Way East Bridge that was supposed to end in August may not wrap up until the end of this month, according to WSBT.

INDOT says the construction project is running at least a month behind schedule, in part due to delays getting the process started during the summer, WSBT reported.
