One person killed after car crashes into home in Three Rivers

A person was killed when a car crashed into a home in St. Joseph County, Michigan.

It happened around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, near the intersection of Wood and Hoffman Streets in Three Rivers.

The car drove through a yard and crashed into a house, according to investigators.

The person who died was identified as a 49-year-old woman, according to WOOD-TV.

The circumstances that led to the crash are still being investigated.
