Parents warned after girl grabbed by stranger at Benton Harbor bus stop

A 14 year old girl was walking to her bus stop when she was grabbed from behind by a man.

It happened on Monday, Oct. 29, at the corner of Main and Hull in Benton Harbor.

The victim fought and the man ran off toward the east. The suspect is described as 5’09” tall, weighing 180 pounds.

He was wearing a dark blue or black Nike sweatshirt.

Investigators say the suspect was also seen in the same area on Friday wearing the same clothing.

Police are urging that all parents be especially vigilant and walk their children to their bus stops.
