The slick roads around Michiana led to dozens of crashes and slideoffs in the area Thursday morning, including one involving a school bus in Elkhart County.

No students were injured when a car slid into a Concord Community Schools bus at Sunnyside Avenue and County Road 13 in Dunlap.

As many as 17 East Side Elementary students were on the bus and none of them were reportedly injured, though the bus driver was transported to the hospital suffering from neck pain.

The bus sustained minor damage and another was brought in to transport the kids to school. Parents were notified.
