Goshen woman killed in crash on U.S. 31 in Miami County

A Goshen woman was killed in a crash on U.S. 31 in Miami County.

The collision happened around 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, on U.S. 31 south of Sease Drive.

Rebecca Easton, 60, as driving a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox and was traveling too fast for the slick road conditions and lost control of the vehicle, according to Indiana State Police.

The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road and struck an earth embankment, rolling at least once, before coming to rest on its top.

Easton, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
