Man in Noble County arrested one hour after being released from jail

A Hudson man was arrested just one hour after being released from the Noble County Jail.

Noble County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 2500 block of E. State Road in Albion on reports of a vehicle theft just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

A short time later, officers located the stolen vehicle on 700 East and 200 North and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver, Anthony Butchbaker, 29, was arrested for auto theft, a Level 6 Felony.

Following his arrest, officers learned Butchbaker had been booked into the Noble County Jail at 12:54 a.m. Tuesday for an outstanding warrant for Theft, and had just been released from custody at 1:53 p.m.

Butchbaker is currently being held, again, at the Noble County Jail.
