Suspect who police say robbed Flagstar Bank on Mishawaka Avenue arrested

A suspect who South Bend Police believe robbed the Flagstar Bank in the Riverpark neighborhood, last week, has been arrested.

The heist happened around 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the branch located at Mishawaka Avenue and 30th Street.

Investigators the suspect, Dwight Neal, 46, was armed with a gun and left with an unknown amount of money. Neal was placed under arrest on Saturday, Dec. 22.

South Bend Police credited the public, in part, for providing tips that led to Neal’s arrest.
