Even before this weekend’s snow, The Swiss Valley Ski Area was tired of waiting for winter so they began making their own snow in Jones, Michigan.
This is the popular resort’s 50th anniversary, and it’s also the latest start they’ve had in those 50 years thanks to a December season that wasn’t, and an unusually-warm start to January.
They’ve fired up the snow-making machines and are coating the slopes for skiers.
According to their website, Swiss Valley will open on Monday, Jan. 14.
