Autopsy: South Bend teenager died of gunshot wound to head

The autopsy on the 16-year-old boy killed in a shooting on Sunday, Jan. 13, in South Bend shows he died from a gunshot wound to the head.

The shooting, which claimed the life of Ajurin Blake, took place outside his home in the 500 block of North Brookfield Street

An 18-year-old man was also shot, but he survived.

A candlelight vigil in Blake’s memory will take place at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at at the spot where Blake died
