Boy, 12, injured in a semi vs buggy crash in LaGrange

A 12-year-old boy was injured in a semi vs buggy crash in LaGrange.

The collision happened on Monday morning, Feb. 18.

The horse and buggy was traveling on US 20 and 300 East. The boy, who was driving the buggy, failed to stop for a stop sign, according to investigators.

The semi was unable to stop and struck the horse, which caused the buggy to roll over.

A 7 year-old girl in the buggy was released to family at the scene.

The semi driver, a 70 year-old Ohio man, was not hurt.
