An autopsy is set for Tuesday, March 5, after an inmate at the Fulton County Jail was found dead in his cell.

Nicholas Clevenger, 29, of Rochester, was arrested on Sunday for possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe, and possession of a narcotic drug.

He was placed in a cell that was monitored with cameras out of concern that he might harm himself.

Early Monday morning, a guard found Clevenger unconscious and not breathing.

Correctional staff started life saving measures and requested an ambulance. Despite their efforts, Clevenger was pronounced dead in the cell.
