The woman found dead in her South Bend home on Sunday, March 10, was stabbed multiple times.

That was the finding from the autopsy completed on Ashley Starr, 30.

Relatives went to the home in the 4400 block of Huron Circle to check on her welfare and told police they found her dead.

Her death was ruled a homicide.

The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is following up on several leads, including a potential person of interest.
