South Bend mayoral candidate Will Smith’s recent arrest isn’t his only brush with the law.

He was arrested in December 2018 on suspicion of trespassing and for squatting at a home in Malibu, California, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Smith was also charged in Starke County, Friday, where police say he took a vehicle from an impound lot after it had been repossessed, WSBT reported.

Smith was arrested last week and booked into the St. Joseph County Jail on a warrant out of Miami County for theft on an R.V.
