A man who prosecutors say was caught lying on the floor of a women’s restroom at a South Bend hotel watching a woman in a stall has been charged with voyeurism.

It happened back in December.

The victim told police she was using the restroom when she noticed the suspect, Earl Moten, lying on the floor of the stall next to hers and was looking into her stall, according to 95-3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

According to court documents, Moten told the victim he does it all the time at hotels, the library and different business buildings, ABC 57 reported.

A manager called police and Moten took off.

Officers found him a few minutes later behind a bank on Main Street, ABC 57 reported.
