The University of Notre Dame might be the site of a Presidential debate next year.

The school is hoping toplay host to a 2020 Presidential debate, according to an applicant list that was released on Wednesday.

The Commission on Presidential Debates says Notre Dame submitted an application to host a general election debate.

Others on the list include the University of Michigan, the City of Hartford, Connecticut, Belmont University in Tennessee, Creighton University in Omaha, and the University of Salt Lake City.
