Boil water order in Bourbon may last until Thursday

A boil water order issued in the Town of Bourbon may last until at least Thursday, Sep. 5.

The advisory was issued around 9 a.m. on Monday, Sep. 2, due to a lack of water pressure, according to the town’s Facebook page.

Testing has to occur and officials have to receive 2 good tests before the advisory can be lifted.

In the meantime, residents are advised to boil their tap water before consuming or using for cooking purposes.
