A man was found not guilty in a deadly stabbing that happened last year at Patrick Metals on Lincoln Way East in Mishawaka.

Tommy Love, 36, was on trial for voluntary manslaughter in connection with the death of Aaron Woods, back in February 2018.

Love’s defense attorney argued that it was a case of self defense and that Woods had attacked Love, pushed him against the wall and Love stabbed him with a folding pocket knife, believing his life was in danger.

Eyewitnesses testified Woods had previously threatened to kill Love.
