(95.3 MNC)

South Bend’s oldest house is moving locations, from Leper Park to the South Bend History Museums campus on Thomas Street.

The move is ahead of its 200th birthday. The house was built in 1820 by South Bend first settler, Pierre Navarre who lived on what is now West North Shore Drive.

The South Bend Tribune reports that moving the cabin will cost somewhere between $30,000 and $50,000.
