Mosquito spraying completed in Michigan

Michigan’s Department of Health & Human Services has completed their planned aerial spraying against mosquitoes in 14 counties.

It’s part of the effort to combat the spread of the EEE virus that has impacted people and animals across the state.

Another case of the virus in a resident was confirmed recently in Cass County, which was sprayed, and the aerial treatment also included parts of Berrien, Van Buren and St. Joseph Counties in Michigan.

People in the state are advised that even with the cooler weather, they should take precautions to protect themselves from mosquitoes. You can learn more at michigan.gov/eee.
