Rescued horse dies

A horse that was confiscated from a LaGrange County farm has died.

Indiana Horse Rescue says the horse, named “Mica,” was found dead outside of her gate around 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Mica was seized from the Larry Myers Farm in Howe on September 25, a facility that officials removed other animals from just last week.

The rescue group says Mica’s health had been improving and they’re uncertain what may have caused her death.
