Woman Forces Her Way Into Home; Threatens Guests with Scissors

Carrie Foster/ ABC 57 News

A South Bend woman is behind bars for forcing her way into a home and threatening the homeowners.

The homeowners were having a gathering with friends when Carrie Foster showed up and forced her way into the house. None of the individuals inside the home knew her, and when she got inside she immediately went to the kitchen and grabbed a hammer.

Eventually she put that down and worked her way to the entrance where she found a pair of scissors. While they attempted to get her out Foster allegedly put a guest in a headlock while holding the scissors. That’s when police showed up and removed her.

Fosters charges include residential entry, intimidation and criminal confinement.
