South Bend man sentenced to 11 years for robbing four banks in Indiana, Michigan

A South Bend man was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison Wednesday.

Shawn Fox, 34, pleaded guilty to three counts of Bank Robbery by Force or Violence. In addition to prison time, he was sentenced to three years of supervised release and ordered to pay $10,197 in restitution.

According to court documents, Fox was involved in four bank robberies that took place between December 2018 and January 2019.

He had just been released from prison in October 2018 from a previous bank robbery conviction, and was on supervised release at the time of the four subsequent robberies.

Fox has also been convicted of five prior felony offenses, with two of those being robbery convictions.
