19 Year Old Arrested in Carjacking

The carjacking happened last week when a woman, her boyfriend, and another friend drove to a home on South Caroline Street. When they got there the boyfriend and the friend went inside a home, leaving the woman alone.

It was at that time police say 19 year old Samuel Lattimore put gun at the woman’s side and told her to get out of the car. She did and he drove away, but didn’t get far. Police arrested Lattimore as he was pulling into a motel on Lincolnway. They also say that they found a handgun on the ground outside of the vehicle.

He is being held on a $5,000 bond and is charged with armed robbery.
